About Heidi
Sometimes what you’ve been taught
stops fitting.
I work with people who are ready to see that—
and choose differently.
I didn’t always see it clearly—
how I’d been taught to turn away from myself.
There was a man.
Gorgeous. Intense. Certain of himself.
Self-proclaimed control freak.
The sex? Super hot.
At first, I thought his controlling behavior was sexy.
I was his.
No one else could touch me.
He demanded I write “his property” on my body.
And I did.
With a black Sharpie.
Several times.
Right over my left breast.
Not with surrender.
Not with seduction.
But with compliance.
I felt turned on.
And small. Conflicted.
Part of me wanted to please him.
But part of me felt disgusted.
Furious.
Not just with him.
With myself.
I realized how easily I’d been taught to confuse being chosen with being owned.
And how normal it felt.
That realization wasn't only about that relationship. It changed the way I understood relationships, desire, and the countless ways I'd learned to leave myself.
That moment ignited something in me.
What I See Now
I see myself differently.
And, because of that, I see relationships diffe
I’m not interested in being chosen if that means abandoning myself.
I’m not interested in shrinking to be wanted.
I want to choose—
not have choices made for me.
That changed how I see everything.
Hi. I’m Heidi.
At some point, what you’ve been taught stops fitting.
That’s usually where my work begins.
And it’s not just my story.
What I Do
I create well-held spaces where people can untangle the patterns they've been shaped by—especially in relationships, intimacy, and self-expression—so they can move through life more honestly and feel more like themselves.
Overtime, I started noticing who this work resonates with.
Who This is For
This work tends to resonate with people who:
feel like something doesn’t fit anymore
are questioning what they’ve been taught about relationships or desire
are tired of shrinking, overgiving, or performing
want something more honest—even if they can’t name it yet
And just as importantly…
Who This Isn’t For
This space may not be a fit if you’re:
looking for quick answers or step-by-step formulas
wanting to be told what to do instead of discovering what’s true for you
more interested in staying comfortable than being honest
hoping for surface-level change without going deeper
How I Work
My work is emotional, somatic, and relational.
It’s not about fixing you.
It’s about seeing clearly—
and choosing differently.
At your own pace.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
People sometimes ask what it's like to work with me.
I create a safe, well-held space where you can slow down, tune in, and listen to yourself.
My job isn't to have the answers. It's to help you to hear your own.
I have a knack for recognizing patterns.
I notice the threads running beneath the surface, weaving together stories, relationships, dreams, symbols, desires, and fears. Together, we make meaning of what you're experiencing.
I reflect what I see, not to tell you who you are, but to help you recognize yourself more clearly.
My work often includes guided journeys, ritual, tarot, symbolic exploration, and thoughtful conversation.
And while the work is often deep, it isn't always serious.
I believe laughter, delight, and unexpected moments of levity belong here, too.
You don't have to become someone new.
Just more yourself.
Your "yes" belongs here.
Your "no" belongs here, too.
I'm here to tend the lantern while you discover your own way.
A Little About Me
I came to this work from two directions.
One was academic.
I earned a PhD in Sociology and spent years studying patterns, relationships, and the ways people are shaped by culture.
The other was deeply personal.
My own life became an ongoing practice of noticing, experimenting, grieving, questioning, and returning to myself.
Along the way I became a certified VITA Sex, Love & Relationship Coach and immersed myself in ritual, tarot, astrology, Human Design, Creator Types, and other symbolic and embodied traditions.
What I discovered is that the most meaningful transformations rarely happen because someone tells us who to be.
They happen because we're finally given the space to listen.
I think of myself less as someone who leads people through transformation and more as someone who tends the lantern while they discover their own way.
And yes...
Sometimes that includes making art with marshmallow bunnies.
If This Resonates
If something here resonates, you can work with me.
You don’t have to become someone new.
Just more yourself.
